Please welcome our new Assistant Director, Jeff Mosher!

Granite State Choral Society is thrilled to welcome Mr. Jeff Mosher as as he accepts the role of Assistant Director for the 2019-2020 season! We are so excited to have him and can’t wait to see how his musical skills will enhance our performances.

Mr. Mosher, baritone, is an American singer, teacher and conductor who hails from the great state of Maine. Renowned for his charismatic stage presence, dynamic programming and compelling musical integrity, he continues to attract international attention. Mr. Mosher holds a BM in Voice Performance from the University of Southern Maine. At the University, he sang regularly as both chorister and soloist. Highlights included singing the role of Liberto in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, appearing as the bass soloist in Mozart’s Requiem, and completing a concert tour of Croatia with the USM Chamber Singers.

In addition to his university work, Mr. Mosher has also maintained a rigorous schedule
of solo recitals and private teaching. Most recently, he completed a one year appointment on
the voice and conducting faculty of the Murray Conservatorium in New South Wales, Australia.
Mr. Mosher has been fortunate to study with numerous conductors, most notably Dr.
Markand Thakar and Dr. Robert Russell. In addition to engaging in private study, he continues
to participate in conducting masterclasses worldwide.
At present, Mr. Mosher is a candidate for a second degree in Music Education, serves
on the voice faculty of the Portland Conservatory of Music, and resides in Portland, Maine.
