Granite State Choral Society will host its first choral workshop open to anyone interested in choral music. Learn techniques & skills useful to group singing be it a small church choir or large community ensemble. All voice parts (STAB) will find this a stimulating and useful day to work on vocal technique, ask questions and learn more about how to best achieve the best vocal sound when participating in a choir or small group.
Instructors: Dan Roihl, Music Director- GSCS, Mr. Carroll Stevens, Fine Arts Director Portsmouth Christian Academy and Ms. Marya Danihel, Presenter and Singer/Founder of Vintage Voices.
$99 Price will include all day instruction with morning and afternoon sessions
One 2-hr small group class (15 person max size) focusing on body placement with singing presented by Marya Danihel. This course is very active and comfortable clothing is advised.
Two 1-hr Vocal Technique classes. Attendees will have 1 hour each with Directors Roihl and Stevens in an instructor guided class of 7/8 on specifics of breathing, warm ups, vocal intonation etc. More class specifics coming.

Attendees will also receive 10% discount on member dues if decide to join GSCS next season.
Fall Season 2015-2016 registration begins Sept. 13, 2015
In order for the event to provide a more dedicated ratio of instructor to singer it will be limited to the 30 participants.
