Granite State Choral Society  is a non-profit organization founded to promote a forum for non-auditioned community choral singers to come together and perform high quality choral concerts in a variety of genres and to foster and promote the love of choral music to the community and future singers.

Since 1974, GSCS has been active in the community presenting two formal concert sessions each year in the fall and spring. Additionally the group does much community service such as singing in local long term care facilities and festivals such as the Somersworth Children’s Festival, assisting with fundraising events like the restoration of Rochester’s Opera House and other community partnerships including singing at the recent Berwick Academy Veteran’s Day Memorial Program.

“Hit the High Notes 50 for $50 Campaign”  is asking you to thoughtfully consider being one of  50 partners GSCS needs to continue presenting choral music opportunities to singers as well as presenting quality music for audiences of all ages.  If you love music, you can appreciate the benefits having a strong Arts presence in Rochester means and being the city’s premier choral group is one of those pillars of arts and culture in the area.  Your contribution will strengthen our mission and permit us to continue performing for you.
