Spring 2015 Concert – Friday, May 15

In concert with the Strafford Wind Symphony at Rochester, NH’s Historic Opera House will be a fun filled family evening of choral and instrumental music to delight the senses. This concert will close out Granite State Choral Society 40th Anniversary Season. We will perform again the newly commissioned work “Rochester” premiered at the March 28th Gala, River Stones, Rails and Renaissance: a Rochester Retrospective as well as selection of accompanying pieces. Additionally GSCS will perform with the Strafford Wind Symphony and showcase the extraordinary musical legacy that is currently present in the Lilac City. This performance will be well worth attending as not only will the history of Rochester in song be presented but between both of the city’s musical gems more than 65 combined years of music is sure to be filled with many musical highlights one will not want to miss.

* Gala Dinner Concert on March 28, 2015 — Your $60/65 ticket is non-refundable and the date is not exchangeable. The event goes on even in inclement weather, but if GSCS or Governor’s Inn cancels due to severe weather or other circumstance, there are no refunds.

** Spring Concert at Rochester Opera House on May 15, 2015 — Rochester Opera House Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Refunds: 
All sales are final. 
There are no refunds or exchanges for unused tickets. You might consider a tax deductible donation to ROH in lieu of a refund.
Refunds (for ROH cancellations only): 
Patrons will be notified of cancellations by phone or e-mail. 
Credit card sales are refunded on the card used to purchase the tickets.
 Cash or check sales are refunded via check.
 You might consider a tax deductible donation to ROH in lieu of a refund.
The Show Must Go On: 
We are contractually obligated to pay artists who arrive as scheduled for a show. Therefore, we cannot cancel that show or offer refunds/exchanges due to inclement weather.

Perhaps you have supported the Arts in the past and so you know that producing a concert involves a variety of expenses that need to be met each season. Rehearsal and performance space, salaries for the director and accompanists, and publicity are just a few of the expenses. Join GSCS

Fall Rehearsals for the choral society will begin on Sunday, Sept 13, 2015 at the First Church Congregational, Rochester, NH from 4:00 – 6:30 pm. Registration begins at 3:15 pm on Sept 13. There are no auditions. Knowledge of how to read music is not a requirement, but may be helpful. The 2015-2016 Season performance dates have yet to be finalized at this time.
